Summer Math Camp is a four week summer program for students looking to get ahead in math. Our program is designed by a college professor and former San Francisco public school educator and is based on the subjects taught as part of the Common Core curriculum. The program is designed for students entering grades 6 through 9, and features topics including:
-Pre-Algebra – Basic math concepts, foundational to the study of algebra
-Algebra – Solving equations and factoring
-Geometry – Proofs and basic principles of geometry
Class placement will be based on grade level and a placement test. The program will include daily homework, quizzes, and lectures. One-on-one tutoring is also available during the summer and during the school year at no additional cost. Please contact us for more details if interested in one-on-one tutoring.
The program is offered at the low cost of $50 for the entire four weeks, as we are a non-profit organization, seeking to serve the community.
