In another exciting win, CBF took it to extra innings to beat the Autobots. Due to a scorekeeper’s error, both teams played into the top of the 8th; however, the game result did not change. The final score should have been 7-6 instead of 8-7.
Peony Cheung suffered a sprained ankle, forcing Stephanie Wo’s return to the lineup from pregnancy. She went 0 for 2, grounding into a double play. The game was highlighted by excellent defense. While giving up two home runs, CBF also turned two double plays and in 5 of 8 innings they faced 4 or fewer batters.
